Dance making profoundly informs my ideas and philosophies about teaching and learning. Because I am interested in creative process, I find engaging in choreography and rehearsal to be fascinating venues for study into possibilities and choice making. In rehearsal dancers have the opportunity to explore how people communicate, continually form and amend relationships and individual behavior, and ultimately measure personal and group success based on criteria emergent from the experience. This dialogue is always fresh and invigorates my love of dance making and research.
